Job Summary
Carotek a SunSource company provides process equipment solutions for the industrial commercial and municipal markets in North Carolina South Carolina Tennessee Georgia and Virginia. Carotek represents over 85 manufacturers as their process equipment distributor representative and repair center for pumps blowers heat exchangers valves instrumentation IIoT steam hydronicsand municipal products.
We are activelylooking for individuals to:
Assembleelectrical control panels junction boxes and wire harnesses for industrial equipment.
Fabricatecontrols according to specifications including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel and wiring of all components.
Determinedimension and layout of back panels and enclosures.
Mountcomponents to back panels and enclosures.
Routeand bundlewire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
Point to point wiring of relays controls PLCs I/O Modules VFDs interfaces and instrumentation.
Troubleshootpanels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.
Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
Communicatered line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion.
This job operates in a warehouse-type environment is full-time and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overtime work may be required as job duties demand.
Requirements Must be able to read control system wiring diagrams ability to read and write English follow verbal instructions use simple math and interpret documents ability to convert metric to standard measurement and convert degrees to knowledge of electrical theory terminologyelectrical schematics; proficient in the use of measuring equipment levels squares and various hand tools.
