Shift Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM or 9:00AM-5:00PM
Location: Conshohocken PA
Please Note: This role has a hybrid work schedule. Tuesdays and Thursdays are required in-office work days at our headquarters in Conshohocken PA.
Under general direction of the Director Global Generic Sourcing this position will work directly with over 200 of Cencoras generic manufacturing partners to execute several formulary specific addition this position is responsible for various reporting that is required to support generic sourcing activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages all formulary related initiatives within Cencoras bidding portal. Track all formulary related requests and maintain this information in a master database (Retail Insights which is a portal-based workflow tool).
- This position will be responsible for ensuring formulary requests are carried out in a timely manner. Some coordination with the generic category management team will be required.
- Circulate reports from the database to various internal stakeholders on a regular cadence to track and monitor progress.
- Creates and maintains a tracking database for all on-going contracting activities.
- May require interaction with associates from other internal departments such as Supply Chain Management Information Technology Pricing Operations and Legal; also interacts with outside vendors and generic pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Researches and resolves issues related to formulary specific initiatives to ensure our overarching objectives are met.
- Reports on activities to executives and internal departments.
- Organizes projects and maintains planning to ensure issues and milestones are met.
- Conducts data analysis and data research; ensures accuracy of data being reported.
- May require ad hoc work to support the generic sourcing team.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelors degree in business administration procurement event management operations communications or a related field or equivalent experience required.
- 2 (two) years of experience in procurement sourcing category support supply chain operations purchasing contract administration project coordination data analysis business operations or a related field required.
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent certification preferred. Certification in project management preferred.
Minimum Skills and Abilities:
- General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Very strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail is a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to work with others on the team.
- Strong computer skills are necessary to operate effectively using company systems and programs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
