Job Summary
Customer is seeking a Procurement professional to support the deal life cycle for its Banking and Investments Category. This Procurement & Sourcing Operations Analyst Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process including contract and price negotiation and support of strategic sourcing engagements. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to lead competitive sourcing events negotiate contracts and drive supplier selection and contracting decisions aligned to business objectives.
This role will serve as a trusted advisor by leveraging market insights data analytics and supplier expertise to optimize procurement outcomes and supporting effective supplier and stakeholder addition this role serves as a key operational partner to the customers team by providing administrative and tactical support across procurement activities including issue resolution purchasing support reporting data management and process execution.
Core Responsibilities
Owns pipeline of low and medium complexity sourcing engagements under
***k for an assigned category. Will be assigned engagements over ***K
based on demand and development. Supports Category Leads on high complexity engagements and assists with data analytic insights report generation and purchase order creation. Supports contract lifecycle activities including contract drafting redlining and execution of renewals amendments or new projects. Collaborates with internal stakeholders (business teams finance IT legal risk) to translate requirements into sourcing strategies and aligned outcomes. Provides operational and administrative support across the procurement team helping to resolve procurement-related inquiries process exceptions and open internal issues.
Generate analyze and distribute recurring weekly monthly and ad hoc reports
to support sourcing activity contract management supplier oversight and
leadership decision-making. Continually examines ways to raise standards and improve process and procedures while improving the overall performance of the customers supply chain division. Ensure sourcing and contracting activities comply with internal procurement policies governance standards and risk management requirements Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2 years or more of experience in strategic sourcing supplier management
procurement contract management or a related business function.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and
experience.
Experience supporting competitive sourcing events (RFI RFP RFQ) and
supplier evaluations.
Experience reviewing negotiating or administering supplier contracts and
commercial terms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate
supplier proposals pricing models and business requirements.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships communicate effectively with
stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization and navigate cross-
functional decision-making processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience supporting operational business processes reporting data
management or administrative activities within procurement finance
supply chain or a related field.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume
transactional work while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Intermediate Excel skills including data analysis reporting reconciliation
and data management activities preferred.
