Job Summary
Our client is a respected industrial construction organization supporting complex construction Projects through disciplined commercial and project controls practices. The Contract Administrator will work closely with project teams to maintain contractual compliance manage commercial obligations and keep critical project documentation and deadlines on track. This is an opportunity to join a team where strong contract administration directly supports successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Contract Administration and Commercial Administration activities for industrial construction projects maintaining accurate contract records correspondence and supporting documentation.
- Manage Change Order Management and Claims Management processes including documentation tracking review and coordination with project stakeholders.
- Support Project Controls through Schedule & Delay Management monitoring project milestones potential impacts and contractual obligations.
- Track Contractual Deadline requirements and maintain organized records related to notices submissions approvals and other required project actions.
- Use Primavera P6 Procore SAP Microsoft Office and SharePoint to maintain project information reports trackers and contract documentation.
Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in construction contract administration subcontract administration or a closely related construction support function.
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Construction Management Engineering Quantity Surveying Business or a related discipline.
- Experience working with Contract Compliance requirements within construction or industrial project environments.
- Background supporting Water/Wastewater Projects or other complex Industrial Construction projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction agreements commercial documentation and contractual processes.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent document organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to review project records identify outstanding actions and maintain accurate administrative controls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint with experience using construction or project management systems.
