Content Writer

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hoffman Estates IL 60192

Role overview

Atom is looking for a Content Writer to support our thought leadership and press relations. Youll write bylined content for our leadership team draft press materials and help get Atoms perspective in front of the media.

This is a hands-on execution-focused writing role in a fast-moving AI-native startup. Youll work closely with our CEO and marketing team turning ideas data and launches into content that builds credibility with founders domain investors and the press.

What youll do

Thought leadership

• Write blog articles LinkedIn posts and op-eds for company leadership
• Turn interviews notes and rough ideas into polished publishable pieces
• Develop points of view on AI naming branding and the domain industry

Press relations

• Draft press releases media pitches and company announcements
• Write contributed articles for business and tech publications
• Draft responses to journalist requests and media inquiries
• Keep press materials and the company boilerplate up to date

What were looking for

• 1-3 years writing professionally (PR communications journalism content marketing or agency)
• Ability to write strong business thought leadership
• Experience writing press releases pitches or other media-facing content
• Clear facts-first writing with a strong editorial eye
• Comfort using AI tools to research and draft faster with the judgment to make the final product sound human
• Ability to learn a new industry quickly and write about it with authority
• Ownership and speed in a fast-paced startup environment

Bonus if you have

• Experience ghostwriting for executives
• Bylines or placements in business or tech outlets
• Background in tech startups branding or marketing
