FloSports is creating the home for college conferences/leagues and sports like grappling hockey track & field racing cheer wrestling and more and we are looking for innovative and passionate people like you to help us!

THE ROLE:

FloSports is looking for a Content Creator to help lead the day-to-day content strategy and execution for FloBikes.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who deeply understands cycling and knows how to turn live events athletes and storylines into content that grows our audience and drives fans to watch on FloBikes.

You should be a subject matter expert in cycling understand what fans care about throughout the racing calendar and know how to identify the athletes rivalries and narratives that can make an event feel must-watch. Just as importantly you should be a strong social content creator who is comfortable working in real time during live events clipping and publishing key moments and then continuing to maximize those events long after the live broadcast ends.

While this role will primarily focus on FloBikes you will also regularly contribute to priority events and initiatives across the broader FloSports portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the day-to-day social content strategy and execution for FloBikes

• Create content plans around our live programming and storylines with the goal of driving viewership and subscription signups

• Identify compelling narratives before major events and build content that gives fans a reason to watch

• Actively cover live events in real time by identifying key moments clipping live broadcasts and quickly publishing content across social platforms

• Maximize FloSports live event library by turning full-event replays into highlights short-form clips compilations athlete-focused content and other formats that extend the life and reach of each event

• Manage FloBikes social channels including publishing programming and day-to-day content decisions

• Develop a strong understanding of what content drives awareness engagement live-event viewership and subscription conversion

• Use performance data and audience insights to refine content strategy and identify opportunities for growth

• Look for opportunities to increase social and video monetization while keeping audience growth and subscription acquisition as the primary focus

• Assign and coordinate work with freelancers contributors and other external resources as needed

• Collaborate closely with marketing design production rights sales and other FloSports teams around major events and company priorities

• Support priority events and content initiatives across other FloSports verticals when needed

• Maintain strong editorial judgment accuracy and quality across all published content

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Deep knowledge of professional cycling including athletes teams events disciplines major storylines and cycling culture

• Strong experience creating social-first sports content particularly short-form video and real-time event coverage

• Demonstrated ability to identify compelling moments from live events and quickly turn them into engaging social content

• Strong understanding of how to build anticipation and narratives around live sports

• Experience managing social channels and making day-to-day editorial and programming decisions

• Strong video instincts including an understanding of what makes a clip highlight or moment perform

• Experience using analytics to understand content performance and inform future decisions

• Strong understanding of how social and digital content can contribute to audience growth live viewership and subscription acquisition

• Familiarity with social and video monetization strategies

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced live-events-driven environment including nights and weekends when major events require coverage

• Highly organized proactive and comfortable owning projects from idea through execution

• Strong collaborator who can work across multiple teams without needing a large team or direct reports to get things done
