What You Will Do:
- Support a variety of financial accounting and compliance projects with a strong emphasis on nonprofit organizations.
- Assist with outsourced accounting services including:
- Preparation of general ledger entries and financial statements
- Month-end and year-end close support
- Account and bank reconciliations
- Audit preparation and documentation
- Conduct operational and financial assessments of clients finance departments evaluating processes policies procedures and internal controls.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of financial and operational policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage calendars and meetings for client engagements and internal team collaboration.
- Perform industry and technical research to support the creation of tailored client solutions.
- Leverage technology and best practices to streamline internal processes and enhance project efficiency.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related business field
- 1 years of relevant experience in nonprofit accounting or consulting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Masters Degree
- Prior consulting experience
- Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
