Job Summary

Construction Team Manager: Full-Time
The Construction Team Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Construction Insurance Underwriting team. This role requires prior construction underwriting experience and the ability to effectively manage team performance workload and carrier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily workflow of the Construction team ensuring timely service and balanced workload distribution.
Coordinate schedules and team coverage to maintain seamless team operations.
Train mentor and onboard new team members providing ongoing coaching and support.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and wholesalers.
Research and identify new markets to expand placement opportunities for construction accounts.
Serve as a technical resource for complex construction underwriting and coverage questions.
Monitor team performance productivity and service standards recommending process improvements as needed.
Collaborate with management to support department goals and drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Prior construction underwriting experience required.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction insurance products and markets.
Proven leadership training and team management skills.
Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building skills with carriers brokers and internal teams.
