Construction Superintendent

Location: Chester PA

A well-established family-owned commercial specialty subcontractor is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can effectively bridge the gap between the field and office and help keep projects crews and communication moving smoothly.

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and project execution
• Serve as the primary connection between field personnel and the office
• Coordinate crews subcontractors materials and jobsite activities
• Read and interpret construction plans specifications and project details
• Identify conflicts or questions in the field and communicate them through the appropriate RFI process
• Help maintain project schedules quality and productivity
• Communicate with project managers clients GCs and field teams
• Take ownership of projects and help solve issues as they arise

• Commercial construction experience
• Strong understanding of field operations and project coordination
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Understanding of RFIs and construction documentation
• Strong communication skills between field and office teams
• Someone who is hands-on reliable and able to take ownership
• GC or subcontractor experience is welcome
• Experience with commercial interiors carpentry drywall framing or related trades is required
