RES is looking for a Superintendent I to join our growing field operations team!

AsSuperintendentI you will oversee field crews and help manage the successful delivery ofenvironmental this role youll combine construction expertise with ecological awareness to drive safety quality and efficiency on site. Working closely with Project Managers and other field leaders youll lead by example to ensure every job meets RES standardsand that every team member gets home safely.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong field experience excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of both construction processes and restoration best practices.

Experienceinfull site construction of stream restoration stormwater infrastructure and heavy civil construction projects is required.

This position requires weekly travel throughout the Southeast with overnight stays typically occurring Monday through Friday based on project location.

A Day in the Life

Your day starts by leading a tailgate safety meeting and reviewing the days goals with your crew. On site youllleadconstruction tasks monitor equipment readiness and ensure that work is progressing safely and according to plan. Youll conduct site safety inspections coach others on safe practices and report incidents promptly to EHS&S and your supervisor.

Youll use your knowledge of site plans specifications and ecological principles to guide daily operations andplans. Youll proactively communicate with your Project Manager and the broader project team assess site conditions and manage tasks and personnel effectively on a single-site project.

Throughout the day youll confirm that all equipment is maintained fueled and functioning and youll play a key role in task execution troubleshooting and quality control. Safety leadership and strong field coordination are essential to your success in this role.

We Would Like to Talk to You If You Have Many of the Following:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years of construction or ecological field experience
  • 3 years of experience as a construction foreman or field crew lead
  • Valid drivers license and ability to maintain a Samsara driving score above 70
  • Experience reading and interpreting project plans specifications and layouts
  • Experience instream restorationconstruction including planting excavation and erosion control
  • Understanding of ecological restoration in a field setting

California Pay Range

$72000 - $88000 USD
