A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Services Project Engineer for their Washington DC team!
Responsibilities:
Manage/control all construction project documentation
Update Construction Management plan
Ensure all construction documents and required recordkeeping is maintained appropriately
Responsible for external and internal communications with the project team
Technical writing of project documents and documentation management
Monitor/observe daily construction activities on projects
Establish project controls/procedures
Prepare monthly reports maintain project records review contractor payment requests
Prepare project documentation including transmittals submittals Requests for Information (RFI) letters faxes emails
Attend progress meetings and generate status reports
Meet with project team vendors contractors suppliers and other service providers as needed
Assist with large-sewer rehabilitation projects from design/permitting phase through construction services
Requirements
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college
5 years of relevant experience
MD or VA PE preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity within first 6 months
Salary is commensurate with experience.
