Construction Project Manager Restaurant & Retail
Reston VA Hybrid $115000$130000 Company Vehicle
We are hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple restaurant and retail construction projects from planning through completion.
This is a full-time direct-hire opportunity for someone with a strong background in ground-up restaurant/retail construction tenant build-outs and open-door remodels.
Restaurant and retail construction experience is REQUIRED. Candidates without this specific background will not be considered.
What Youll Be Doing
Manage multiple restaurant and retail construction projects simultaneously
Oversee schedules budgets resources and project timelines
Coordinate contractors vendors clients and internal teams
Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety quality and code compliance
Review and interpret architectural drawings blueprints and site plans
Track project costs and implement cost-control measures
Identify scheduling risks and resolve issues before they impact deadlines
Lead project meetings and keep all stakeholders aligned
Manage projects from pre-construction through final completion
What Were Looking For
5 years of Project Management experience specifically in restaurant and retail construction
Proven experience with ground-up construction AND tenant build-outs
Experience with open-door remodels strongly preferred
Strong construction scheduling and budgeting experience
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and architectural plans
Strong contractor vendor and client management skills
Proficiency with Procore Primavera Raken or similar construction management software
Strong organization communication and problem-solving skills
PMP certification is a plus but not required
