Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Project & Cost Controls:Monitors approved project budgets and oversees project controls (PERs PSRs change orders pay apps) identifying risks and recommending adjustments to maintain financial discipline.
- Program Delivery & Results:Facilitates delivery of campus and metrobased construction projects through timely datadriven decisionmaking in partnership with local teams and stakeholders ensuring alignment to Safety Security Quality Schedule and Cost priorities.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration & Change Enablement:Partners with COI and key Microsoft stakeholders to drive adoption of updated processes improving cost savings cycle time and operational efficiency across programs.
- Technical & Construction Oversight:Reviews engineering documentation designs and site plans; identifies gaps and risks; and provides recommendations that improve constructability while adhering to security core priorities and standards.
- Risk Safety & Regulatory Leadership:Represents Microsoft as a safety advocate by establishing risk mitigation metrics supporting national safety goals ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g. OSHA) conducting audits and contributing to incident investigations.
- Resource Procurement & Vendor Management:Oversees procurement and resourcing activities evaluates staffing and material needs and monitors vendor performance for compliance financial accuracy and contractual obligations.
- Project Tracking & Executive Reporting:Assists in tracking and reporting project progress across scope schedule standards and budget synthesizing complex data into clear updates for delivery and executive audiences.

Bachelors Degree in Construction Project Management Architecture Engineering or related field AND 12 years related experience OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Construction Project Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116900 - $203600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148400 - $222600 per year.
