Job Summary
Required Experience
- 5 to 10 years of construction experience.
- Several years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within heavy civil specialty or geotechnical construction.
- Experience managing deep foundations earth retention drilling shoring or ground improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of estimating budgeting cost control forecasting and project financials.
- Experience managing multiple projects while maintaining schedule quality safety and budget requirements.
- Strong communication skills with field crews superintendents clients subcontractors and internal teams.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Design-build project experience involving shoring foundations or specialty geotechnical construction.
- Experience working with union labor and skilled craft teams.
- Experience across both public and private sector projects.
- Experience managing tight-access technically challenging or urban construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage geotechnical construction projects from estimating and preconstruction through execution and closeout.
- Prepare and review estimates proposals scopes and bid packages.
- Develop and manage project budgets schedules forecasts and cost controls.
- Coordinate with superintendents and field teams to support safe and efficient project execution.
- Manage subcontractors suppliers and vendors against project scope schedule quality and cost requirements.
- Identify project risks and resolve changing site conditions design issues and operational constraints.
- Maintain client relationships through clear communication and consistent project delivery.
- Coordinate with engineers and internal teams on design-build projects.
- Review work against contracts drawings specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Manage change orders subcontractor costs material expenditures and project financial performance.
- Lead internal project meetings and client-facing project discussions.
- Support jobsite safety initiatives and address project-specific risks.
- Identify operational efficiencies and share lessons learned across project teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $100000 to $140000 based on experience.
