Job Summary
Inline USA is seeking a skilled and experienced Laborer/Survey Assistant to provide support to our field crews in Idaho. This role is responsible for day-to-day project execution safety performance quality assurance scheduling and strong client relations.
This position follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation. While on rotation the Laborer/Survey Assistant is expected to be on-site for the full duration of the shift and available to support operational requirements as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Safety & Promote a Culture of Accountability - Safety is a core part of everything we this role youll assist Surveyors with daily safety paperwork and help maintain compliance with all site-specific safety requirements. By staying alert engaged and proactive in the field youll contribute to a team culture where everyone looks out for one another and works safely every day.
- Deliver Reliable Field Support - Youll play an essential role in daily survey operations assisting with equipment set-up tear-down and maintenance to ensure crews are prepared for accurate and efficient fieldwork. Your attention to detail will help ensure tools are functioning properly and ready for each task.
- Execute Hands-On Installation & Site Tasks - Working under the supervision of Surveyors youll install survey stake lines and survey control monuments with precision. You will provide general labour support as required to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Maintain Equipment & Vehicles - Youll help ensure survey vehicles and equipment are properly maintained organized and handled with care. Your diligence in upkeep supports operational efficiency and company assets.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a survey assistant or diploma in surveying/Geomatics related post-secondary education or equivalent field experience.
- Dependable team-oriented mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk 1012 hours per day in varying weather and terrain.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Ability to take direction listen carefully learn quickly and apply instruction from supervisors effectively.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Final candidates must hold a valid drivers license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as part of the pre-employment screening process. Final candidates may also be required to complete post-offer drug and alcohol testing and a fit-for-duty assessment in accordance with federal and state laws.
Final candidates may be required to complete a post-offer background check consistent with federal and state law. Background checks are conducted only with the candidates written authorization and may include employment verification education verification and criminal history checks as permitted by law.
