Construction Inspector

We provide engineering and construction management services to a variety of public and private is looking for talented leaders to build upon our strengths and grow locally regionally and nationally.

EXPECTATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

On a daily basis this individual will be asked to:

• Serve as a Construction Inspector for select Construction Management Projects. This includes:
  • Working in a collaborative manner with fellow staff internally and externally
  • Engaging and being open to learn and grow and be a lifelong learner
  • Being a strong communicator with staff colleagues clients and partners
• Daily construction site duties:
  • Display CKL in a positive light showing comingdressed appropriately and punctual
  • Working with the resident engineer and project teamto fulfill all contract needs
  • Inspecting items asneededfor the project within the framework of our scope of services
  • Complete inspector daily reports daily activity reports record contractor activities in field books and within client construction software
  • Attend constructionweekly progress meetings
  • Understand all RFIs change orders and material submittals
  • Complete project closeout items including
  • Usingmanuals guidance standards and engineering judgment to provide construction engineering solutions on projects

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 yearsCM experience
• Comfortable and experienced with technicalwriting
• Client references needed
• GDOTQC/QA certifications preferred
• E.I.T. preferred
