About the Program
Join us for a 12-week hands-on internship experience where youll gain real-world exposure to the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects with Boyd Jones Construction. Our interns are not here to just observe. They collaborate with experienced professionals sharpen their skills and leave with tangible accomplishments to add to their resume.

Key Responsibilities
As an Estimating Intern your assignments may include:
- Assisting with quantity take-offs and material pricing for commercial construction projects
- Supporting the preparation of detailed cost estimates and bid packages
- Researching subcontractor and supplier pricing and maintaining vendor databases
- Reviewing construction documents drawings and specifications to identify scope of work
- Participating in pre-bid meetings site walks and post-bid analysis
- Supporting the estimating team with value engineering and scope review during preconstruction
What Youll Bring
- Current enrollment in an accredited program in Construction Management Construction Engineering or a related field
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Strong analytical math and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
