What Youll Do:
- Collaborate with our Resident Engineer on daily tasks ensuring smooth project operations.
- Enforce construction safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review and understand contract documents plans and specifications.
- Assist in documenting pay quantities and developing the Final Estimate.
- Ensure compliance with standards and specifications and document monthly progress payments.
- Draft and track Contract Change Orders and ensure accurate payment tracking.
- Manage material inspections certifications and project acceptance documentation.
- Organize project files according to Caltrans requirements and manage project submittals RFIs and correspondence.
- Prepare meeting agendas minutes and construction closeout documents.
What Were Looking For:
- A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering; an Engineer in Training Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or inspection of bridge and roadway construction projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with experience working with contractors and sub-consultants.
- OSHA Safety Training Certification or willingness to complete it within 3 months of hire.
- Commitment to innovation integrity and collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team environment.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment we have provided the base compensation range of$39.04 - $58.56 per hour for this position and local market.
