Location: Tallahassee FL. This is a full-time on-site opportunity offering close collaboration with attorneys clients and the broader team.
Note: Active Florida Bar membership and 2 years of associate attorney experience are required along with 1 year of construction law procurement law or commercial litigation experience. Candidates with 4 years of post-law-school experience are strongly preferred.

Job Description
- Represent clients in construction procurement contract and commercial litigation matters
- Analyze contracts claims disputes and regulatory issues and develop practical legal strategies
- Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery correspondence and other litigation documents
- Manage discovery depositions hearings negotiations and case preparation
- Advise clients regarding construction contracts procurement issues business disputes and risk
- Work directly with experienced attorneys and clients on sophisticated matters
- Take increasing ownership of cases and client relationships as your experience grows
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar license
- 2 years of experience practicing as an associate attorney
- 1 year of construction law procurement law or commercial litigation experience
- 4 years of post-law-school legal experience strongly preferred
- Construction and/or procurement law experience preferred
- Strong legal research writing analysis and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with a team
- Willingness to work full time in the Tallahassee office

- 2 to 3 years $120k to $140k;
- 4 to 6 years $140k to $165k;
- 7 to 9 years $165k to $185k;
