Job Summary
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to developmaintain andoptimizesystem configuration processes ensuringaccurateconfiguration control system integrity and compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop andmaintainconfiguration management plans policies and procedures.
- Manage configuration baselines change requests and system documentation.
- Analyze configuration issues and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate configuration changes with engineering and project teams.
- Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Support software and hardware installations upgrades and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare configuration status reports and documentation for project leadership.

Required qualifications:
- TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 35 years of experience in Configuration Management or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of configuration management principles change control and version control.
- Experience maintaining technical documentation and configuration baselines.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering or IT teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
- Familiarity with CMII EIA-649 or other Configuration Management standards.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of automated configuration management and CI/CD tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Security CE ITIL Foundation CMII or PMP.
