The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Configuration and Data Management / Technical Integration Engineer to support engineering product delivery and data/deliverables for the P-8 Program. This BDS position reports to the P-8 Data Management Team as part of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila WA.
The P-8 is a high-visibility advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program supporting the U.S. Navy and international customers. As a Configuration and Data Management / Technical Integration Engineer you will be regularly working and interacting with the program teams other divisions various customers and/or suppliers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) activities in the support of the product baseline and delivery of the product.
- Participate in the development management analysis and verification of process and product baselines including the integration routine analysis and resolution of issues with engineering product structure.
- Execute Item Unique Identification (IUID) tasking that includes logging tracking reconciliation and resolution of issues in support of the program UID Plan and the product.
- Interact regularly with the P-8 Program Teams suppliers various customers and other divisions in the execution of tasking.
- Utilize data gathered from customers and suppliers to assist in the definition of Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware software and engineering design data systems.
- Apply knowledge of basic engineering principles to help in the development and support of change proposals change activities and integration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards processes systems and tools.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to workonsiteat one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology) Computer Science Engineering Data Science Mathematics Physics or Chemistry.
- Level 2: 2 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 3: 5 years of related work experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams program leadership customers and suppliers in support of data and product delivery.
- Experience working/interacting with suppliers and their deliverables.
- Engineering Product Lifecycle Management knowledge.
- UID knowledge.
