Configuration Analyst

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Configuration Analyst in San Diego California for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support configuration management engineering documentation change control and product lifecycle data across engineering and manufacturing programs.

• Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience masters degree with 1 year or equivalent additional experience.
• Experience applying Configuration Management principles and change-control processes.
• Experience working in a PLM system.
• Experience with Teamcenter Costpoint SAP or similar PLM/ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience managing engineering documentation revisions and configuration baselines.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• 2 years of Configuration Management experience.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint or SAP.
• Experience supporting engineering change orders and document-release processes.
• Experience with SharePoint or similar document-control systems.

• Maintain program configuration baselines and engineering documentation.
• Review and coordinate engineering changes across Engineering Quality Manufacturing and support teams.
• Create and manage change orders and related approval documentation.
• Perform document and configuration audits.
• Enter and maintain part and document data in MRP/ERP systems.
• Verify drawings and specifications before release into PLM systems.
• Route documentation for review and approval.
• Issue track and distribute engineering documentation to production teams.

• $76.63 per hour.
