The Concrete Laborer is responsible for assisting with various tasks in concrete construction including mixing pouring spreading and finishing concrete. The role involves physical labor and the ability to operate equipment and tools to prepare surfaces pour concrete and ensure quality control for construction projects. Concrete Laborers work closely with other construction workers to ensure the completion of tasks safely efficiently and according to project specifications.

What youll do

Key Responsibilities:

• Concrete Preparation & Pouring: Assist in mixing pouring and spreading concrete on floors foundations sidewalks and other structures.

• Surface Preparation: Ensure proper surface preparation by setting forms leveling and grading work areas.

• Tool Operation: Use hand tools power tools and equipment such as wheelbarrows concrete mixers floats trowels and screeds to finish surfaces.

• Finishing Concrete: Help with smoothing and finishing the surface of poured concrete using finishing tools hand or power trowels.

• Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris tools and unused materials.

What youll bring to us

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials standing kneeling bending and operating equipment.

• Experience: Previous experience in construction or working with concrete is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of concrete mixing pouring and finishing techniques.

• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
