Computer Repair Tech

• $15.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10-20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

• Assisting end users with computer issues
• Troubleshooting systems installs cleaning
• Documentation
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have excellent interpersonal communication & customer service skills
• Punctuality
• Ability to install software

• Must be enrolled in at least one credit to be eligible for the position
• Valid drivers license
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• An understanding of computer functions such as hardware dependencies and components.
• Operating system fluency including Windows MacOS iOS and Android.
• Basic understanding of how the internet and building networks function.
• Experience with troubleshooting issues such as virus and malware removal hardware compatibility and driver troubleshooting.
• Printer issues.
• Hardware installation and upgrade.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
