The Training Instructor is primarily involved in the development and implementation of training for job positions/activities in a nuclear limited supervision the Training Instructor has the following duties and responsibilities to execute the ADDIE model:
- Develop training materials including lesson plans and trainee support materials
- Conduct classroom and/or simulator training (delivery and administrative responsibilities associated with each class)
- Assist in the evaluation of training programs across the site
- Interpret DOE Orders laws regulations and company procedures and recommends training options which will yield the most value to the customer considering current in-house training available alternatives to traditional classroom training modification or development of new course materials or contracting training/material/lesson plans from outside vendors
- Research formulate design develop and implement computer-based training (CBT) and eLearning materials.
- Develop and maintain linkage between eLearning and the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Accountable for all direct output assigned. Perform other duties and projects as assigned
The Training Instructor will have industrial safety Department of Transportation and/or occupational health experience to deliver curriculum.

- Bachelors degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- OR Masters degree: Minimum 1 years of relevant experience.
- OR PhD
- OR Ten or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
- Direct knowledge and application of DOE 426.2B DOE-STDand DOE-HDBKwill be required.
- Qualified BIT or OJT instructor
- Specific experience of executing and mentoring leadership through the SAT
