Torch Technologies is seeking a Community Planner to provide expert-level support at Eglin AFB leading the development maintenance and implementation of installation planning initiatives. This role is critical for ensuring the effective management of land use facility-space optimization and infrastructure development in support of Air Force mission requirements.

As a Community Planner your duties include but are not limited to:

• Lead the development review and update of installation development plans area development plans and facility-space optimization strategies.
• Conduct advanced analysis of land use environmental impact and infrastructure requirements to support mission execution and long-range planning.
• Coordinate with engineering environmental and operations teams to ensure alignment of community planning initiatives with organizational goals.
• Prepare and present high-level reports briefings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Air Force DoD and federal regulations governing installation planning and development.
• Facilitate community engagement activities including public meetings stakeholder consultations and interagency coordination.
• Track and report on planning metrics project milestones and resource utilization.
• Provide input for environmental safety and occupational health plans as required.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to the professional development of the planning team.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Masters degree in Urban Planning Community Planning Geography Civil Engineering or a related field and over 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 18 years of relevant experience (substituting 8 years for the Masters); OR 12 years of relevant experience (in lieu of a degree).
• Must possess and maintain Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with GIS AutoCAD or other planning and mapping tools.
• Exceptional analytical communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and complex planning projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Air Force and DoW planning standards is highly preferred.
