Communications and Events Coordinator Temporary

Maine Public is seeking a highly organized and creative communications professional to support our Leadership Giving team. This position will play an important role in developing donor communications coordinating outreach and marketing materials and writing and coordinating grants. The position plans and executes donor events and helps strengthen relationships with Maine Publics philanthropic supporters.

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator who enjoys managing multiple projects working collaboratively and ensuring that communications are thoughtful accurate timely and engaging. This role also requires comfort with the technical and administrative aspects of communications including managing mailing lists coordinating email distributions supporting communications workflows and coordinating and attending donor events.

Job Requirements: Two years of experience in nonprofit fundraising communications marketing or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills strong organizational and project-management abilities attention to detail and accuracy are required. Experience with email marketing platforms CRM or donor databases list management or similar communications tools is highly desirable. A valid drivers license is required.

Approx. 20-30 hours per week and
$25.50 hourly commensurate with experience.

We can offer a combination of remote and onsite work evening and weekend hours will be required in connection with events and some travel throughout Maine will be necessary.
