SFE Engineering is looking for a dedicated Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Flushing. This full-time on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our architectural and planning projects ensuring that all systems function optimally and meet industry standards.

As a Commissioning Engineer you will play a crucial role in the project lifecycle overseeing the commissioning process for various systems. Responsibilities

• Oversee the commissioning and retro-commissioning process for various systems and equipment
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
• Coordinate with project teams to develop commissioning plans
• Document commissioning results and prepare reports
• Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase
• Provide training and support to project staff on commissioning protocols
• Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in commissioning or related engineering roles
• Strong understanding of building systems and commissioning processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in project management software is a plus
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
