What Youll Do:
As a Refrigeration Service Technician youll take on advanced service and maintenance tasks for commercial refrigeration systems. Your role will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex commercial refrigeration systems including compressors condensers evaporators and control systems i.e. ice machines walk-in coolers and freezers reach-in coolers and freezers glycol systems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance and ensuring systems operate at peak performance.
- Installing and commissioning new refrigeration equipment calibrating controls and verifying functionality.
- Performing refrigerant recovery leak testing and compliance tasks in line with EPA standards.
- Providing expert technical support and recommendations to customers for system improvements.
- Maintaining detailed service records and documentation for every job.

What Were Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration.
- Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal) is required.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities advanced technical knowledge and proficiency with diagnostic tools ability to read and use schematics to diagnose issues.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certification is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 75 pounds and working in various environments including cold storage rooftops and tight spaces.
Work Environment:
Youll work on-site at client locations sometimes in extreme temperatures or tight spaces ensuring systems run safely and efficiently. On-call hours including nights weekends and holidays may be required.
