- Act as the key account manager for a portfolio of commercial clients providing tailored solutions to meet their insurance needs.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients understanding their business goals and challenges.
- Manage the complete client lifecycle including onboarding policy renewals coverage reviews and claims support.
- Collaborate with internal underwriting account servicing and sales teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Review and analyze client accounts to identify gaps ensure coverage accuracy and recommend additional products or services as needed.
- Address and resolve client concerns proactively while anticipating future needs to mitigate risks.
- Stay current with industry changes regulatory updates and market trends to provide professional advice.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals presentations and reports for clients and senior management.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within Commercial Insurance or Risk Management (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of commercial lines products coverage options and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently.
- Proficiency in insurance management software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor and support colleagues.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail for reviewing documents and providing customized client solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Risk Management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant insurance certifications such as CIC CPCU or CRM are highly desired.
