JOB SUMMARY

In partnership with the CFO lead the Companys strategic and financial planning focusing on investment for growth decision-making and financial modeling.

This includes annual and monthly forecast updates and analysis of actuals vs. plan. Additionally this role provides insights into cross-functional teams to improve e-commerce growth & profitability while achieving the companys annual financial plan & OKRs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with cross-functional business counterparts to develop annual business plans and analyze year-to-date performance and historical trends; collaborate with responsible parties to develop action plans to close any identified gaps.
  • Work cross-functionally with key partners in marketing operations and analytics to develop business insights that uncover audience growth levers and opportunities to improve customer value.
  • Develop performance management presentations narratives and analytical material to be presented to senior and executive management.
  • Develop monitor and communicate key performance measures that support the companys strategic financial objectives.
  • Actively monitor performance against our plan and proactively highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-departmental leaders to define and measure ROI and build financial models in key investment areas such as eCom promotions innovations and performance marketing.
  • Assist in the month-end close process by reviewing accounts for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing materials for the Parent Company and manage ongoing communications and deadlines.
  • Own E2E forecast process across the business ensuring all functions adhere to the monthly calendar and financials are submitted OTIF to the parent company monthly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS / BA in Accounting Finance or relevant field; MBA / MS / MA is a plus
  • 3-7 years of overall experience in finance and accounting
  • Experience in a high-growth company in CPG branded consumer or retail
  • Expert-level proficiency with MS Office programs and planning tools
  • Exceptional modeling skills coupled with compelling storytelling prowess
  • Comfortable with being an individual contributor manager and everything in between at the same time
  • Ability to challenge more senior stakeholders on key strategic and operational decisions
  • Seamlessly capable of working and communicating with all levels of the organization within ONNIT and broader Unilever
  • A growth mindset backed up by a track record of leveraging past learnings encouraging new ideas and smart risk-taking in self and others
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively
