Position: Commercial Blasting Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65$75/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in energetic materials and propulsion. Label them as benign dual-use or adversarial.
• Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard. Judge the correctness of each response.
• Write reference answers explaining correct responses and technical reasoning.
• Distinguish between routine professional questions and those fishing for misuse. Ensure model responses align with this distinction.
• Work independently and asynchronously. Maintain flexible hours while improving model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Licensed practitioner in handling storing and moving specialty materials.
• Experience in blast design vibration control and regulatory compliance.
• Strong technical writing skills with prior experience or published research.
• Ability to write clear rationales for non-specialists.

Preferred

• Red-teaming experience in mining quarrying construction or demolition.
• Background in magazine management and inventory reconciliation.
