Ford of El Paso is growing and were looking for an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our expanding collision center. - Perform complete collision repairs according to OEM and manufacturer specifications.
- Repair both heavy structural damage and light-to-moderate cosmetic damage.
- Perform frame structural panel replacement body alignment and metal repair work.
- Review repair estimates and verify correct parts before beginning repairs.
- Identify and document supplemental damage and communicate additional repair needs.
- Maintain repair quality while meeting productivity goals.
- Work closely with estimators painters and fellow technicians to ensure efficient vehicle completion.
- Follow all manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
- Properly use all required personal protective equipment.
- 5 years of professional collision repair experience
- Ability to immediately contribute in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience performing both structural and non-structural collision repairs
- Strong frame repair and metal finishing skills
- Experience interpreting repair estimates and OEM repair procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- I-CAR Certifications including:
- Steel Welding
- Aluminum Welding
- Steel Sectioning
- ASE Collision certifications are a plus
- Experience working in OEM-certified collision centers
