Volt is immediately hiring for aCoil Assembly Technician /Production Assemblerin Rainsville AL 35986.

As aCoil Assembly Technician /Production Assembleryou will:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare coils and components for final assembly and testing
• Bend shape cut strip and solder wires and electrical leads
• Attach wires using lugs crimps and connectors
• Pull lead wires and install protective sleeving
• Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools
• Sand and prepare wire surfaces as required
• Read and follow work instructions specifications blueprints and assembly drawings
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Safely lift move and position materials using lift-assist equipment
• Support physical inventory and cycle count activities
• Meet daily production efficiency and quality goals
• Maintain 6S Lean Manufacturing and workplace organization standards
• Follow all safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned

This is a full-time contract opportunity.

Shift: 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing production assembly or electrical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings specifications work instructions and shop aids
• Ability to solder wires and electrical components
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good verbal communication skills
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
