Job Description

• The Code Development Technical Writer will report directly to the Director of Code Development
• Serve as a technical staff writer for all support documents
• Develop issue and edit technical support documents.
• Develop illustrations and drawings for all support documents.
• Provide technical support to Code Development Administrators committees and industry personnel
• Develop and execute timelines for publishing of all support documents and ancillary documents.
• Work closely with various industries and committees to provide industry specific related reports and information as assigned
• Evaluate and recommend new or expand areas for support documents.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• DO NOT APPLY unless you have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5 plus year of technical writing.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with committees and support personnel.
• Proficient in technical writing editing and research.
• Competent in the English language
• Experience writing articles for engineers training manuals or ancillary notes.
• MS Word Excel Power Point Drawing Software Programs Illustration Programs or CAD.
