Under the supervision of the Director of Bands Administration and Band BoosterClub perform the various duties of Visual and Performing Arts coach including:* Coaching and mentoring beginning band and advanced band students. * Preparing students for coach provides specialized instruction in instruments to students helping them develop technical skills musicality and performance is a general posting for the following:VAPA Marching CoachVAPA Visual CoachVAPA Color Guard CoachVAPA Color Guard TechVAPA Percussion CoachVAPA Percussion Battery TechVAPA Percussion Pit CoachVAPA Percussion Pit TechVAPA Low Brass CoachVAPA High Brass CoachVAPA Double Reed CoachVAPA F Horn CoachVAPA Woodwind CoachVAPA String Bass CoachVAPA String Cello CoachVAPA Vocal Music AdvisorVAPA Dance Team Advisor

Requirements / Qualifications

* Completion of one of the following courses: Fundamentals of Coaching course completion certificate Online Course available through National Federation of High Schools () or Coaching Principles completion certificate. Online course available through Human Kinetics Coach Education Center ( Sudden Cardiac Arrest course completion certificate. Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. () * Concussion in Sports Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. () * Heat Illness Prevention Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. () * CPR & First Aid: evidence of current certification. MUST be recognized by the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. (Online Courses Unacceptable)* TB Test: evidence of current negative test OR Adult TB Risk Assessment Form.* Current Driver License at time of to upload required Certificates to application in order for applications to be considered.
