As a member of the AES OH PMO Team you will be more than just an observer. You will be an active contributor to projects that are needed to meet customer growth demands improve system reliability and provide quality customer service. This is an opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute project plans from inception to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in planning and tracking electric utility projectsfocusing on substation and transmission line projects

  • Help prepare project schedules budgets and progress reports using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6

  • Coordinate with engineering construction and procurement teams to ensure materials and resources are in place

  • Participate in site visits to observe construction progress safety practices and quality control measures

  • Support documentation for regulatory compliance environmental permitting and internal reporting

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by analyzing project data and identifying efficiency opportunities

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering Construction Management Business or a related field

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management software is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • A willingness to learn ask questions and take initiative in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in the electric utility industry and infrastructure development.
