Role: CNO Software Developer

Our Client is an experienced CNO Software Developer to design and develop advanced hardware- and software-based CNO capabilities supporting mission-critical defense intelligence and national security applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and C/C programming low-level system internals networking socket-level programming troubleshooting and CNO capability development.

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $90000.00$200000.00/yr

Relocation: Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities.
• Manage the design development documentation testing and debugging of application software and systems.
• Apply expert knowledge of cybersecurity concepts software security and network technologies.
• Develop software solutions that meet technical security performance and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve software and system issues.
• Document software designs development activities testing procedures and technical results.
• Communicate project status technical challenges and progress with leadership and customers.
• Collaborate with software engineers systems engineers cybersecurity professionals and other technical teams.
• Ensure software development activities comply with applicable standards processes and quality requirements.
• Support software testing integration validation and deployment activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Python and C/C programming.
Bachelors degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience OR minimum 10 years of relevant experience if no degree.
Proficiency in low-level internals in one or more technology areas (Windows Unix Mobile Network devices) Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming. CNO capability development experience. Troubleshooting and debugging experience.
U.S. Citizenship Required: Due to the nature of this position and the requirement to maintain a U.S. government security clearance only U.S. citizens are eligible.
Active current TS/SCI with recent CI poly is required
