CNC Operator Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Carson CA
Pay Rate: $21.00 $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating CNC machinery monitoring production runs inspecting finished parts and ensuring products meet quality and engineering specifications.
The ideal candidate will have machining experience strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines including:
- Milling
- Turning
- Grinding
- Drilling operations
- Read and interpret:
- Blueprints
- Engineering drawings
- Work instructions
- Load raw materials and prepare parts for machining
- Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed
- Perform test runs to ensure proper machine functionality
- Inspect finished parts using:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Gauges
- Communicate quality or production concerns to Engineering and Quality teams
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Perform daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- 1 3 years of CNC operation experience or formal machining training
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience operating multi-axis CNC equipment
- Familiarity with machining metals and tight tolerances
- Aerospace manufacturing environment
- Exposure to machinery metal materials and industrial equipment
- PPE required in production areas
