MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 2nd Shift at our Mount Carroll Illinois manufacturing this role you will operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality components to specification perform quality checks and support safe reliable production.

  • Location: Mount Carroll IL

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

  • Pay: $16-$19/hour

  • Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

  • Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What Youll Do as a CNC Operator
  • Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.

  • Inspect components and ensure they meet established quality requirements.

  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.

  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.

  • Maintain a clean organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.

  • Follow applicable safety environmental and quality policies and procedures.

What Youll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.

  • Ability to take initiative work independently and drive assigned tasks to completion.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.

  • Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.

  • Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous industrial manufacturing experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is performed on-site in a manufacturing environment and involves working with CNC production equipment. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow applicable safety environmental quality and 5S requirements.
