In this role you will be working as a CNC setup machinist for a leading manufacturing company. This position is responsible for setting up programming and operating CNC equipment working with a variety of materials including aluminum stainless steel copper and plastics. You will be using CAD/CAM systems and G-code M-code and conversational programming to produce high-quality parts.
This position is a direct hire role that must be worked on-site (MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM).
Pay Range: $25 $30/hour (based on experience)
Requirements
- 35 years of CNC machining experience
- Ability to set up program and run CNC machines (not just operate)
- Experience with G-code M-code and conversational programming
- Experience working with CAD/CAM systems
- Ability to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances
- Experience working with a variety of metals and plastics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
