Job Summary:
The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision metal and non-metal components according to engineering drawings specifications and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety efficiency and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

- CNC Mills
- CNC Lathes
- Precision Measuring Instruments and Inspection Equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints sketches drawings and work instructions to determine machining requirements and part specifications.
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tooling fixtures and materials for production runs.
- Adjust machine controls speeds feeds and cutting depths to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Conduct test runs and troubleshoot machining issues to ensure proper machine performance.
- Replace and install machine components and verify proper operation following maintenance or repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers programmers supervisors and production personnel to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve processes.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.
- Follow all quality standards related to our Quality Management System (QMS) ISO requirements and safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Training:
- GED or High School diploma
- Previous CNC machining manual machining manufacturing technical training or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and commitment to quality.
