Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesLead and direct daily CNC machining operations ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet production goals quality standards and customer coach and develop team members to promote engagement accountability skill development and career individual and team performance attendance productivity and adherence to established policies and a flexible collaborative and results-driven work environment that supports teamwork and operational daily team meetings to communicate priorities review performance metrics and encourage employee participation in continuous improvement and maintain training programs to onboard new team members and support ongoing development and cross-training departmental performance and prepare daily weekly and monthly reports to track key operational and maintain visual management tools and performance boards to drive accountability and all departmental activities are performed in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Champion workplace safety by maintaining a clean organized and compliant work environment and supporting all Health & Safety and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and increase with suppliers and cross-functional teams to address quality performance and cost improvement active listening and effective communication to address employee concerns and support a positive workplace duties as QualificationsAssociate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Technology or a related field; equivalent experience may be of eight (8) years of CNC machining of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory lead or team leadership knowledge of CNC machining processes production operations and workplace safety pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsBachelors degree in manufacturing Engineering Industrial Technology or a related technical (5) or more years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a manufacturing with Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement and Visual Management in manufacturing performance metrics reporting and workforce leadership communication problem-solving and employee development Skills Abilities & CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical to work in a high-stress -oriented and able to work approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the to understand processes (system and non-system) troubleshoot develop and recommend working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and Microsoft ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory to noise and temperature RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
