CNC Machine Operator III (2nd Shift) Up To 5,000 Sign-On Bonus

TheCNC Machine Operator III is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and running complex jobs on computer numerical control (CNC) lathe or milling machines maintaining quality and safety standards keeping records and maintaining equipment and position will report to our facility in Trevose PA and must be available to work during our 2nd shift hours of operation 2:30 PM 11:30 PM EDT with the first few weeks spent training on the 1st shift (6:30 AM 3:00 PM EDT) before transitioning to the 2nd sign-on bonus offered for qualified candidates based on experience and shift of this role include:Operate drill presses manual milling machines CNC milling machines manual lathes and CNC complex setup of CNC machines by loading programs installing and adjusting chucks cutting toolsattachments tool holders vises collets bushings stops and stock adjustments to the program as and unload raw materials and parts into the settings by measuring positions firstrun part and sample workpieces adhering to company and measure finished product using calipers gauges micrometers and other machinist hand finished product to drawing specifications to determine if they adhere to company quality specifications by observing drilling grooving and cutting including turning facing knurling andthread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjustingcontrols; and replacing worn continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions irregularities and work area in clean and orderly condition complying with established 5S a safe work environment to prevent onthejob injuries by following and promoting company OSHAand EPA rules and regulations implementing machine safeguards recognizing and reporting safety hazards andfollow all safety procedures and other duties as required within the nature and level of school diploma or equivalent is preferred and five (5) years of experience operating and programming CNC Mills or (7) years of experience is be able to read write speak and understand basic in basic math and to communicate and work as a team to work independently with minimum to to read and understand part and tool to use precision measuring tools and holdclose Demand RequirementsRequired to stand walk or sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds.
