What youll do
Machine Operation:Operate CNC machines and other production equipment such as drills grinders forklifts and burners to manufacture high-quality steel parts accurately and safely. Daily tasks include running pre-written CNC programs and handling materials with remote-controlled cranes.
Blueprint Interpretation:Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances supporting precision in production.
Quality Control:Monitor production processes perform quality checks and document any exceptions or issues. Promptly address problems to maintain high standards and comply with safety protocols.
Collaboration:Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the production process.
Training and Development:Participate in a 68 week training period to build skills and knowledge necessary for success in the role.
Travel Requirements:No travel is required for this role.

What youll bring

High school diploma or GED
Computer proficiency
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints
Basic math and problem-solving skills
