Job Summary
A precision quality-driven regulated manufacturer with a medical device focus needs skilled CNC Machinists. Youll work with advanced multi-axis technology producing precision medical device components. Equipment: Mazak Integrex 100 & 200 with lower turrets Mazak Variaxis 5-Axis Machining Centers Star Swiss-Type CNC Lathes and advanced multi-axis milling and turning platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC machining equipment
- Read blueprints engineering drawings and process documentation
- Select tooling and adjust offsets
- Verify dimensions with precision measuring equipment
- Perform first-piece in-process and final inspections
- Hold tight tolerances and superior surface finishes
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency
- Support continuous improvement
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
Requirements
- 2 years of CNC machining; independent setup and operation
- Strong blueprint reading
- Experience with calipers micrometers indicators and other precision measuring equipment
- Understanding of feeds speeds tooling offsets and machining fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Preferred: Mazak machining centers Mazatrol Swiss-style lathes multi-axis medical device / aerospace / defense tight-tolerance work
