NeuLife Rehabilitation is seeking a CNA/LST Unit Captain to provide leadership mentorship and support to our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/LST)team.

The CNA/LST Unit Captain helps oversee day-to-day team operations supports staff development promotes high standards of patient care and safety and serves as a positive role model for direct-care staff. This position works closely with the CNA/LST Manager and nursing leadership to ensure consistent patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate is an experienced CNA who demonstrates strong leadership communication organization and problem-solving skills and is passionate about helping individuals achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.

• Oversee the daily operations of the CNA/LST team including staffing scheduling attendance performance and accountability.

• Serve as a resource and role model for CNAs and LSTs on the floor.

• Promote teamwork professionalism and a positive work environment.

• Assist with addressing staffing challenges and operational concerns.

• Provide floor orientation and training for new CNA/LST team members.

• Coach and mentor staff to promote professional growth and quality care.

• Reinforce organizational policies procedures and standards of care.

• Identify training needs and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership.

• Monitor the delivery of patient care to ensure established standards are followed.

• Validate appropriate documentation and reporting.

• Promote compliance with clinical safety infection-control and facility protocols.

• Identify and promptly communicate concerns regarding patient safety or quality of care.

• Provide hands-on support with patient care as needed.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) personal care mobility and other patient support needs.

• Observe patients for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.

• Help ensure patients receive respectful compassionate individualized care.

• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care.

• Communicate effectively with patients families caregivers and staff.

• Help resolve workplace and patient-care concerns in a professional and proactive manner.

• Promote a culture of respect accountability and collaboration.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required in the State of Florida.

• Previous leadership charge lead or supervisory experience in healthcare rehabilitation long-term care or a related setting preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to effectively mentor coach and support direct-care staff.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
