CNA RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
- The CNA delivers care to patients with diverse injuries and illnesses specific to the specialty clinic.
- Perform comprehensive professional nursing duties including assessment treatment and patient education by the direction of the registered nurse.
- Ensures timely follow-up for lab tests imaging results and specialty appointments.
- Shall provide counseling and education to patients and families promoting self-care and improved health outcomes.
- Assist with clinic-specific procedures by the instruction of the nurse supervisor including minor surgeries wound care orthopedic procedures etc.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Must have at least one year of direct patient care experience in specialty care.
- Has and maintains BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Current license as a certified nurse assistant in at least one state territory or commonwealth in the US or District of Columbia.
- Must have COVID Vaccine Certification.
