Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in cloud security DevSecOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing security controls across AWS Azure and GCP developing secure cloud-native architectures automating infrastructure using Terraform and building detection engineering capabilities. This role requires strong software engineering skills cloud security expertise and the ability to mentor junior engineers while supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and enforce cloud security controls across AWS Azure and GCP environments
• Develop secure cloud-native architectures aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform with reusable and standardized modules
• Lead detection engineering initiatives including detection-as-code development and security rule lifecycle management
• Develop cloud automation solutions using Go and/or Python to improve operational efficiency
• Implement automated testing and validation using Selenium Postman Cucumber and related tools
• Produce UML diagrams architecture documents and service design artifacts to support engineering and operational readiness
• Design scalable reliable secure and maintainable cloud solutions following software engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Collaborate with DevOps Security Infrastructure and Development teams to integrate security throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks such as NIST CIS Benchmarks or Zero Trust
• Experience with security scanning tools (SAST DAST SCA)
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms and cloud security monitoring
• Cloud certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Security - Specialty
  • AWS Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
  • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
• Terraform Associate Certification is a plus
