Job Description: As a Cloud Engineer you will support the design deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions across public private and hybrid environments while collaborating with senior engineers and architects. You will contribute to cloud strategy by assisting in understanding business requirements developing solution concepts and implementing scalable cloud technologies. This role provides an opportunity to work on proof-of-concept initiatives automation and infrastructure optimization while building foundational expertise in cloud engineering and architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and deploying cloud solutions across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments
Support the development and maintenance of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with architects to translate business requirements into technical cloud solutions
Participate in proof-of-concept development and implementation of cloud technologies
Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and integrating with DevOps systems
Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools
Troubleshoot and maintain cloud infrastructure components to ensure reliability and performance
Document architecture configurations and deployment procedures
Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and team collaboration initiatives
Assist in implementing cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
Support performance monitoring optimization and workload migrations
Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate technologies and support solution implementation
Assist in integrating cloud solutions with on-premises systems and enterprise technologies
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
1 3 years of experience in cloud delivery cloud engineering or business analysis roles
Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Understanding of cloud solution design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with web services and application programming interfaces (APIs)
Basic experience with infrastructure automation and configuration tools
Knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture security requirements and operational processes
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to learn and apply new cloud technologies quickly
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (preferred)
Familiarity with containerization Linux databases and system integration (preferred)
Experience with pipeline design and automation tools (preferred)
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader (preferred)
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
